The Application Manifest File in Android :

This is a service provider for android in field of security.in this sequence we create a protection layer for our application using files storage in mainfest.Every project in Android includes a manifest file,which is AndroidManifest.xml,stored in the root directory of its project. The manifest file is a core of our app because it's defines the structure of our application,components and its requirements.it's special for application. 

Example : 

<manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" 
    package="com.paad.myapp"

    android:versionCode="1"

    android:versionName="0.9 Beta"

    android:installLocation="preferExternal">
